Me and Komunitas Tari FISIP for UI Art War 2014

Now I'm going to talk about my experience when I was given a responsibilty to command FISIP UI's team for UI Art War 2014 in dance branch. It was a superb experience, like I can't even explain what I feel from the beginning till the end through the upside down condition of the process.
I thank God for giving me a super awesome team. you know why I call them a super awesome people? because they really understand what's the real meaning of 'art'. they don't look this competition as a war, they see it as a place to express their love of art. They don't look other faculties as their competitor, but they look them as an inspiration, motivation. They don't really care about the result because they realize art is not about win or lose, but it's all about appreciation. As long as you have tried your best, you do your best in every way, the result doesn't really matter. They appreciate every single masterpiece as something that precious. Because art is not about 'numbers', art is about the beauty and expression.
Actually I don't really like the term of "war" in this competition, I dont agree with the term that make us thought that art could be counted, art is something objective, and if you lose, your artwork is not good enough.
For me, Art is something that can't be counted, art is subjective because art is an expression of human's soul, and every single artwork is beautiful and deserves a great appreciation from all of us.

by the way, I will back to my track haha. After struggling for about 3 months, the competition held on November 26th 2014. on that day I told Ayu Nurmuthia, head of FISIP's contingent for UIAW 2014, that I cant promise her anything, but me and my contingent have tried our best for this competition. Eventhough I don't like this competition, but I still have to give my best shots because once you are in, you are in.
On the stage, we performed our best. We are not flawless or perfect in every moves, there were minor mistakes that we made on stage. But we knew that we dance with our heart, we enjoy the stage, played our role very well, and try to synchronized every moves with the music. The dancers and the musician are all in one.
And the moment when I feel touched that we do not face this competition alone. KTF and FISIP come to watch us, help us everytime we need support and help from them. They not only ask for the winning, but they also accompany us through the hard process. They stand for us and believe that we can give our best. I'm so happy and appreciate our supporters that always stand by our side in our upside down conditions.

and yeah, on November 28th the comittee announced that we got the 1st place!!
it was a super fantastic and heartwarming moment. It's not because the number, but it's because everyone around you just can't stop cry and happy at the same time. they can's stop congratulate you and we did it! we have shown that as long as you did everything with your heart, you gonna get the best!

Thank you Allah for the best lessons through this experience :') I'm so thankful for having my team, KTF UI, and SATU FISIP to be part of me in 2014.
